[Trans] 140115 Max Changmin Talks About Leaving ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master’, “I Wanted To See Kim Yuna In Sochi”

TVXQ’s Max Changmin recently opened up about leaving ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’.

Max Changmin recently met with reporters during KBS 2TV’s ‘Music Bank’ and said, “I thought I wouldn’t be sad after deciding to leave the show, but I got a bit emotional. I tried my best to not cry.”

With one more filming session left on the 15th, Max Changmin will be leaving ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master of Variety and Sports’. Though he has participated in all four sports categories (table tennis, bowling, badminton, basketball) till now, he has decided to leave the show due to his busy schedule.

Regarding this, Max Changmin said, “I get teary-eyed looking at my fellow teammates. I’ve had such great memories. I’m grateful to everyone who’s shared the experience with me, like Lee Byung Jin, Alex and Jo Dal Hwan. I’m sad that I won’t be able to be with the show anymore, since I have a packed schedule to fulfill as a member of TVXQ.”

The singer was especially sad about not being able to attend the Sochi Winter Olympics with the team and said, “I wanted to meet all the fairies in the ice rink, like Kim Yuna, in Sochi, but I guess that dream won’t be coming true after all.”

Max Changmin has gone through many transformations during his 10-month appearance on the show. Last year, he confessed that, “My personality has gotten much more positive since appearing on ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master’.”

Regarding this, Max Changmin said, “I’m so busy and worn out these days, but I’m able to get back on my feet and keep going thanks to the changes in my personality and mindset that ‘Our Neighborhood’s Master’ has caused.” Max Changmin is currently tackling an extremely packed schedule, with a variety of activities piled on top of promotional activities for TVXQ’s latest album.

Meanhwile, TVXQ recently released their 7th album ‘TENSE’ and are currently promoting their title track ‘Something’. With great results on various digital music charts, the album has even been covered by the foreign press, including TVXQ plan to kick off a Dome tour in Japan in April.
