Martzzang.com announced the battle of Live in Concert album sales of Korea best male idol groups and Japan top stars, TVXQ and Big Bang which will last from December 9th to 11th.
Martzzang battle products are the released in last July, TVXQ MIROTIC (The 3rd ASIA TOUR Concert Live Album) and released in April, final 2009 concert of Big Bang, Big Bang ‘Big Show’. Both of these two live albums recorded high sales short after its release, therefore the albums are selected to join this sales battle.
TVXQ started their activities in Japan soon after their Korea debut, having singles as the first at Japan’s ORICON chart for several times, their rising popularity and explosive album sales continue to boom. Even with the recently rising conflict, they keep showing strength and unwavering popularity.
Different from TVXQ, Big Bang started their Japan activities rather late, yet with each member’s great musicality and brilliant debut performance, the group soon entered high rank in ORICON J-pop chart, and become the leader of New Korean Wave.
The two groups also attended Japan ‘Best Hit Song Festival 2009′ on the 26th in where they both won gold award, while on the 30th they met at the ’51st FNS Music Festival’ with TVXQ won Excellent Prize and Big Bang was selected in newcomer category, seems that they will continue competing in Japanese music industry from now on.

I hate how they put BB at the same level as THSK in Japan…uhhhh, there’s no comparison…..plus, everyone knows that DBSK are in a lawsuit right now and Cassies have boycotted SM products….I hope that fans dont’ fall for this trick…awards don’t matter to the guys….don’t give your money away to people that are already super rich and save it instead to support the guys!..remember, giving money to SM means you’re helping them pay for their lawyers!!

i hate slightly bias the article is on big bang. i hate comparing dbsk and big bang. i use to like bb n could pass it when ppl compare tem but lately im feeling very annoyed of big bang especial gdragon -.-
i really wanted to buy the live album for a really long time but due to boycott cant >.< this does seem like sm trick to get more money. seriously lsm just earned like 10billion yuan what more do yu want.
deep in our hearts we know who is superior whose album have the highest sale and whose concert sold out faster. we dont need to some online poll to tell us who is better. the group that represent asia compared to another group who doesnt even have similar style in music sigh.. typical kpop -.-

i agree… bigbang isnt as famous in japan as people think. plus, and i dont know if its because theyre not very familiar in japanese yet, but bb’s personalities seem a little bland. especially g dragon who is the ‘leader’ but says the least in interviews.
